Looking to add our beds to your rental

Nope, they check out your listing to make sure you’re legit and ask you a few questions to confirm it goes into your listing and not into a personal bedroom, and you get a $1000 mattress and pillows delivered free!

Sm , write to Joe @ nest. Include your listing number and what choice of bed you want. They will want you to use the display card to give guests a code if they want to purchase it. Describe it in your copy, That’s all there is to it!

@anon67190644 You also have to mention the bed in your listing and put a picture of it. It’s completely legit. There might be some limitations on which listings qualify but they didn’t tell us what those qualifications might be. I also think there is a limit to how many they will distribute and it makes sense to spread them out geographically so the sooner you make your request the better.

I’m sorry, I did say that but didn’t make it as clear as Karma did. I just said, "we have a brand new, King size, certified organic and Ultra luxurious Nest Bedding mattress with organic cotton topper.

Quite the run on sentence! Hahah.

i also included a photo of the mattress and topper.

Scuse all the caps, I’m on my iPad!

Count me in. How do you sign up?

@greatgazza, are you in the US?

I don’t get the concept behind the offer. If I were interested in purchasing a Nest bed, I wouldn’t want to pay $150 to spend the night at a an AirBNB in my neighborhood just to lay down on it. Will prospective Nest buyers be asking you to access the apt to just sit and lay on the bed? Will nest be subsidizing the cost of a night for these guests to encourage them to sleep on their mattresses in the hopes that leads them to purchase?

No, no… I think you are overthinking this.
All they are saying is that they’ve placed the beds in our units in case customers want to try them.
Nest potential buyers will certainly NOT be coming in the houses to try the beds. It’s not a showroom,
and I don’t think they are subsidizing the cost of a night.

So you tell guests about the bed and let them know they will get a discount if they want to buy one, using the proper code, which was provided to us. I didn’t mind playing it up in my listing copy, because obviously a brand new luxury mattress is a big plus!

Some hosts here have already reported interest!

If they buy, Nest sends you $50 smackaroos.

It’s a win-win

And I looked, using the code gets the buyer around a $100 discount too!

And it’s great quality. I want one for myself!

Chicago, you should get one yourself. I love mine. Well, it belongs to my GUESTS! LOL.

We have had several customers who want to buy but are not near a store and have been ecstatic to find there is an Airbnb near them or where they are going on vacation so they can try it.

Hi Kona – do you feel it’s a very comfortable bed? I am averse to foam mattresses but this seems to get good reviews.

Yes, very comfortable. Very firm. I’m totally adverse to foam as well. This one really doesn’t seem like foam. Even though of course it is. It’s super high end looking and feeling. Whereas the TN was very much like a foam block and I was underwhelmed.

However, I’m not sure how any foam mattress will hold up in he humidity of Hawaii and I’m storing my inner spring just in case it doesn’t hold up. We shall see.

Keep in mind that ALL beds have foam in them. Yes, even coil beds have foam in them. The only other type of foam is latex. The humidity won’t be an issue with foam beds. I sold mattresses in Hawaii for two years and never once had a customer with an issue of a bed breaking down prematurely. The only difference between an all foam bed and a coil bed is the base is all foam instead of coils.

I’m very excited! I sent an e mail to Jo_Alexander and got a response right away. Seems they like my listing, and asked what kind of mattress I wanted. I chose a medium firmness queen memory foam one. Hope that was the right choice!

I sleep on a memory foam mattress myself and would have liked to get one for the Airbnb room, but it was too expensive. I bought a hybrid that my husband and I picked out with great care, balancing price vs. comfort and quality (as far as we could tell). Many of my guests have commented on how comfortable it is, so I’m very interested to see if I get the same comments from the Nest bed.

Thanks Jo! I’m hopeful!! I love it so far and I’m sure the guests will as well. I bet I get some wanting to buy it.

I guess I am thinking of the ones that feel like a block of foam. Yours doesn’t.

We personally use organic dunlop latex mattresses in our own home because we wanted to get away from chemical fire retardants (they cost us a small fortune). I would love to put something without fire retardant in the guest apt since our friends and family often stay down there.
