33,000. At the time there were about 25 AirBnBs in or near downtown (wedding was on a mountaintop that has a tram, terminal is downtown). The Legislature was still in session, so hotels were full. And the cruise season started in 2 weeks.
Does insane special offer mean raising your price?
It means raising the price to an insane level.
No - i just send a truly ridiculous, expensive offer that no one in their right mind would accept.

Hi, I just set up an API connection for Airbnb and VRBO to MY PMS, Ownerrez.
Both are handled very differently. Everything for VRBO including payments, messages is done through Ownerrez.
Airbnb still does the payments, and I need to still communicate with. Guests through the platform including inquiries. The only benefit that I can see to doing the API w. Airbnb is the ability to manage both on one calendar.
So if I block dates on Ownerrez, it blocks those dates on all connected platforms.
I have Instant Book. I don’t decline guests based on the name, ethnicity, etc.
