That’s actually comforting, @Australia because I have to wonder “is it me?” since all the other guests seemed to enjoy the horses - though one person’s review about them being enthusiastically friendly gave me pause. But everyone else just raved about what a great place it is. One person said that the cleanliness wasn’t up to hotel standards - but no one mentions the gobs of dust and the mold and bacteria in the bathroom. I understand that some areas would have a battle with such as that, but this was in the mountains, and everything dried pretty quickly.
