Hahaha, I thought you meant a Hyatt property in KONA!!!
But you were just saying my name Kona!!! hahahaha
You stayed at the 33 New York Avenue one? It’s a Hyatt “Place”… which is I believe the low-budget brand of Hyatt?

Hehe, no I only stayed in Hyatt in New Orleans and Puerto Rico. I liked the whole setup with a little sitting area and breakfast.,and service is always good.
My friend has a pool, so may be her house is considered more of a place to stay for longer. Usually her guests are a week or more. Mine is 1-3 days.
As soon as I wrote that I was booked for New Year for 4 nights, andi put such a high price just to see what would happen. And it worked:). Or may be my price was not that high as I thought.
I have to admit, the free breakfast buffet is a draw! They are a little further from the metro than I thought, but the upside is, I get to think about them a lot before committing. All of their reviews are positive, except for a few from the same type of idiot we occasionally get on air… Complaining about something trivial!
Whew, congrats on the New Years booking!! I got a guest to book through New Years because I insisted on maintaining my holiday blocks intact. Christmas is still open but so expensive not even the Prince of Baharian could afford it. LOLZ.
Gack. I hate bonehead guests. I am almost always irritated by guests, even when they are nice. It’s the money honey!
Just a thought: is this high season for this forum? Hosts are sitting around twiddling their thumbs because suddenly their calendars are clear? So they kill time by hanging out here. I only got onto this forum when business slacked off, otherwise I’d be running around doing all kinds of god-knows-what.
What is the problem ?
Maybe, maybe not. I’m unemployed at the moment so I do have more spare time on my hands!
Super slow November in San Clemente, CA. Gorgeous fall weather here–78 at the beach today.
A solo inquiry (from VRBO) this month that did convert to a nine-night July booking but otherwise nada. I have only a five-night stay booked for the month (over Thanksgiving).
Took the time to plant a new garden. Will be very nice come spring.
Yes, I loved their breakfast buffet. They even made me a just egg muffin, no sausage. They have fresh fruits and all kindof yogurts.
Well I hang out here because I like you guys!! I have made some good friends here!!!
@konacoconutz @Yana_Agapova @Mo_In_TO @cabinhost @chicagohost @jackulas @Kirsty_Jane @Alexandre @CasaCadora @cj132 I’ve used this tool below to find what my vacancy rate in my specific neighbourhood is. This might answer whether your listing is more/less occupied than your average in your area.
when prompted for access code, type in vancouver
thx tom! it’s asking me for email address and password so I’m guessing it’s figured out just one listing or host per account?
it’s just one listing for per account but you can run query multiple listings after
Ok – I signed up and registered and I think the info is really great! My occupancy rate is lower than average, prob because I turn people down and my search ranking is quite low due to declining requests. Really useful, I like this – thx for the tip, Tom!
Thanks @tom2 did you create this?
yes I did do you find it useful?
yeah its pretty cool. I’m not sure how it will actually help me though - as i don’t want to drop my prices below £25 a night
It didn’t work! I must be doing something wrong!!!
