Moderate Cancellation Policy - How is it counted?

If my cancellation policy is Moderate and someone is checking in this Friday - is too late for them to cancel or do they have until 4pm (check-in time) today to cancel?

I believe Sunday at 4pm was the cutoff.

Actually, if you go to the cancellation policy page right now. The example they give shows you exactly what you want to know.

Edit: attaching the image for reference. The colored bar shows exact times.

You are right!! Thank you!! I just finally found an example and it just happened to be using the same check-in day. I got confused and was worried that it was 5 days: Mon at 4, Tue at 4, Wed at 4, Thur at 4, Fri at 4.

However, it seems to be 5days: Sun-Thur for prior to the check-in date but they only say “check-in” so I thought check-in time, which kind of works out to 6 days in my mind, but am happy nonetheless

I’m thinking my guest hasn’t figured this out yet and thought the same as I did. It’s a very inflated-price for the weekend and I will go to the death for my 1st night and 50% on this one. LOL. I appreciate your help!!

I did not realize they automatically got refunded if they left early. Has it always been that way?

Yes this is the same as I signed-up with over a year ago. I wouldn’t say they automatically get refunded, it would depend on the case. And even then, it’s 24 hours after and you still get 50%.

I had someone (my racist guests) leave early and they didn’t get any refund at all. They were stupid. Too stupid to cancel  so they didn’t get a cent back.
