Yes. Glitch has been going on intermittently all over the world for a couple of weeks now. It’s absurd that they can’t get a handle on it. Last week when i couldn’t log in, I switched from Chrome browser to Firefox and it worked.

Safari version is back up, albeit very slow, but iPad App is still not working. And the message I sent guest is not showing (yet) on the Safari browser, so I’ll assume messaging is down, despite the website being up.
The App is working for me! But not any of the browsers - the page appears to work but when it cues to log-in, it crashes.
I have a guest who hasn’t arrived yet and since some people are reporting the app being down, I went ahead and text her the pertinent information.
Edit to add: So glad I text the guest! She was so glad to have the info and said there had been a “moment of panic”. So, if anyone has guests that are OTW tonight…you might want to make sure they have all the info in text or email.
This thread is a great opportunity to remind everyone (again) that you should record the guest’s reservation info as soon as you get it. Having a cell number isn’t 100% but it will help when there is an outage.
I haven’t seen the site down but messaging has been slow for me for months.
I still can’t access on Safari, but was able to access via Chrome this morning. I had a last minute booking from VRBO and wanted to make sure my Airbnb calendar synched and blocked those dates, but I couldn’t access it on any of my devices.
Yes, the app wasn’t working for me for several hours last night. Couldn’t send messages to my guests.
I take a quick screenshot on my phone of the reservation details page, with the dates and phone number showing. Super easy insurance in case the site goes down.
For those of us with US guests, yes. When you have an international guest it can be tricky.
Yes, it has happened to me 5 times in two weeks. Could not access the website login or the phone app. Very frustrating! Each time I called CS. Each time they told me that it must be something wrong with my password. That they had not received any complaints. Yesterday afternoon through the night I could not access. Called CS at 8:30 AM, again she says that I had never called to complain, no one else had reported these issues and it must be my password. I started a ticket and told her to email me the ticket complaint so I could document. Really bad when I get an email that a guest is checking in the next day, and I don’t have a way to contact them.
I have always used a paper calendar. Each booking name, # of people and phone # , is written down on their dates.

It’s also a good reminder that no hosts should rely exclusively on Airbnb. I love using Airbnb and I’m not a pessimist at all but I remember the days when I used to use my Netscape browser to buy toileties from drugstore(dot)com and search the internet using Alta Vista or DMOZ…
Even huge internet businesses come and go.

This company takes the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing to a high art form. If the reports of this log-in issue on the CC are any indication, they have been receiving hundreds of reports of this glitch over the past two weeks and they are well aware that it is a system error, nothing to do with a host’s account, password or clearing their cache.

I’m just going to take the SuperShuttle to Blockbuster to pickup a DVD to play in my Compaq computer that I got at Circuit City before taking a PanAm flight that I’ll photograph with both my Kodak and Polaroid cameras that I got at Sears before posting to MySpace.
