House swap group

This “group” is for AirBnB hosts who would like to make a house swap. It makes for a great budget holiday! You can place your add here, only if you are interested in making a swap, not if you just want to advertise you listing!

I offer my AirBnB https://www.airbnb.nl/rooms/5055690 in Arnhem, The Netherlands. It is 1 hour away from Amsterdam by train, 5 hours to Paris, France by train or car and 2 hours by train or car to Köln, Germany.

There is loads to do in the Arnhem area. Culture, musea, nature… Why not visit this side of The Netherlands instead of just visit Amserdam?

I am looking for a swap for 1 to 3 weeks, close to or in a city, anywhere! It does not have to be simultaneous, but it would be preferred. When it is, you will also have to look after my bunny Theo while I am away.

Drop me a line when you are interested!

We already have our trips for this year planned. Hiking the Grand Canyon in May, wedding in Vermont in the fall. But I’d like to throw my hats in the ring here anyway.

I have an apartment in Athens Georgia (US), a small college town near Atlanta that I list on Airbnb. It’s always available on the weekends.

As for a swap, I also have a home in East Cobb, a suburb north of Atlanta. 3BR/3BA, lovely private backyard with an outdoor fireplace. Huge kitchen. If I swap with someone, they could have the house and even visit Athens with the apartment.

No bunnies. Two golden retrievers but they go visit the mother-in-law while we’re away.

Hi, I need a room this weekend in East Cobb. Do you have a room listed? :slightly_smiling:

Sorry. I do not list my home. Just my crash pad.

HomeExchange.com costs $150/year. No thanks.

@Geoff We have found it more than worth it. The $150 barrier to entry keeps the scammers out and ensures you are doing a swap within thr standards of thr community. We have even swapped for a hut on a small island in Indonesia! It is a very cool service.

That’s an angle I had not thought of. I hate scammers.

@Geoff I totally get it, $150 is $$$. However, given how many scammers we get on Air BNB, I can only imagine the number if I was offering my home for free in the form of a swap. If you are an avid traveler I would highly recommend looking into it. If you are interested I can see if they offer a referral discount or something :slightly_smiling:

If you can get a referral discount, I would be interested.

@Geoff @juliawiddop Private Message me with your emails and I will forward to Home Exchange and they will send you a 20% off coupon code. I know its seems very inefficient, but they are definitely not as tech savvy as Air BNB. However, they are a GREAT site and we have been using them since 2009!

If anyone else wants the 20% Home Exchange code, just message me your email as well!

Hi everyone

I’m from Riga, Latvia and I have a wonderful apartment right in the heart of Riga Old Town Center. Location is excellent!!! I have been lucky to travel a lot but Riga is still one of my favourite places in the world - beautiful, peaceful, romantic, historic, colourful & simply magical. They call Riga little Paris of North & that’s true.
Mission impossible to don’t love my darling Riga!!!

Lately I’m busy with few exciting projects but I’m always ready for new adventures. I would be happy to swap my wonderful apartment in Riga.

Please let me know if you would like to visit my beautiful Riga, Latvia.

Have a wonderful day!

Happy & Sunny Regards,

Liga from Riga

Hello,

Would you be interested in a house swap in the beginning of next year?

This is my listing. Let me know if you are interested in visiting The Netherlands :).

Kind regards from Petra.

Hello!
I have an apartment in the center of Athens and I would like to exchange it for a flat/room in Horsens, Denmark for the period August 2016 - January 2017.

I have a place in New Orleans if ever interested in swapping, have a wedding in Athens on April 22nd!

Dang…that would be nice. Unfortunately, the owner decided to reno the whole building and I had to find a new apartment. I am not doing AirBnB at the new place.

I have a friend that might be interested. She has a nice flat in an old house just off downtown in a quiet residential area.

Athens… Greece, Georgia or somewhere else? @Wesley_Hodges

People don’t want to house swap for Athens, Georgia, do they?

If you have a wedding to go to, maybe so. Seems like an even swap: wedding party for NOLA party.
