Guest not feeling comfortable, when asked what I can do to make them feel comfortable, they say nothing. ( ? )

New news about this booking.

I requested AirBnB remove this review since it was not accurate and was very unfair. They just messaged me back that because it was a third party booking and the person booking the stay did not stay at my place that they will remove the review.
I am going to check to see if the review is truly gone and what my rating is after it is removed. I am so glad this has all come to an end.

I will be really curious if they remove just the review wording or the star rating as well. Keep us posted!

So sorry you had to deal with these pretentious and demanding jerks. You must give the daughter a very bad review, as deserved, and save your fellow hosts from these entitled people! Are you planning to respond? Might be best to just let it roll off the bottom of your review list. If not, post here first for tips on brevity and non-defensiveness.

“I’m sorry the guests did not enjoy the apartment and it was not to their taste. The row house apartment is clean and appointed with everything a guest should need, with over 1,000 square feet of living space. It is priced at a very good rate for NYC, for suitable guests – please see the other very nice reviews. I do agree that this was, as these guests told me when they left, “a bad fit.” I wish them well on their future travels.”

Just read their review is being removed, yay!

Yes! Yay!! :grinning: thanks!!

I am waiting a few days to see if it’s truly removed. Then I’ll relax about it.

I hope Airbnb also remove the stars. I had a situation once where the words were removed and the stars stayed.

I know i am late in answering this, but we don’t write reviews until we get a msg that the guest has written one. Most of our guests are genuine, down to earth and great to have around. They leave great reviews and we respond in kind. We find the ‘pissy’ guests usually don’t bother and so we don’t either, unless they are bad enough to warn other hosts. once in a blue moon we get someone we have to give a poor review to, but we leave those til the last day.
If a crummy guest leaves a review and you do not, then they get to say whatever they want and your side isn’t shown. I have really worked at keeping reviews honest yet as positive as possible, so if a guest is grumpy, they stand out as a grumpy person, rather than us standing out as people who get complaints.
