I have a fixed price for up to 8 guests, and I have beds for up to 10 depending on sleeping preferences, so I’m not too worried about this one.
We have had maybe 4 or 5 host guests. In general it’s sort of different. We went out of our way to help one couple in particular. When she left a 4.9 for cleanliness I followed up on the platform and asked what we needed to improve on. She said that she made a mistake. … but there was a cobweb in the room but she wouldn’t have marked us down for that. I couldn’t find the cobweb.
Eh? Guest can only leave 1 through 5 stars.
My apologies. Guest left 4 stars which dragged us down to 4.9 for cleanliness.
I’ve had 4 host/guests- they were all great guests and left 5 star reviews. No complaints or unsolicited advice. They were all home-share hosts, like me, which might make a difference.
He booked through glamping hub
I’m so curious about this “nightmare extortioner” story!
We’re about to travel for a few weeks, and are exclusively staying in Airbnbs - I hope none of the hosts are concerned that we’re active hosts! Honestly, I believe it makes us more forgiving, instead of more critical…we know how hard the gig is, what goes into it, and how to be decent guests.
