Face/makeup mirror in the bathroom or guest room

Plus Faheem is a math professor. He basically hails from a different universe than the rest of us.

when I stayed at the hyatt they had a great lighted 2 sided makeup mirror on the wall, one side was magnifying(scary!). It was by conair I ordered one for myself and also also ordered one for the bnb and guests just love it. Especially if they are going to a wedding or getting married where they really want to do a good makeup job. Also couples come down for a fun weekend and the ladies want to look hot for their guy so they just love the Conair mirror. You can order on the net.I think I bought one on ebay but just google around. Its about 100 but well worth it. High end places have them in the bath.

Men use the Conair makeup mirror on the wall too when they shave.

When I fixed up my guest room to put on Air, I purchased a full-body mirror with a little shelf at the bottom, which is where I place the guest bath towels. I know from traveling that having a room with no mirror is frustrating, which is why I chose it for the room.
I have never had a request for any additional mirrors and have noticed that some of my female guests find the full body mirror to be a great item int he room as they will sit in front of it to apply their make-up. So, it’s something to consider. I think it was just over $100 at IKEA at the time and definitely worth the investment.

Here it is in case you are curious…

Even though we’ve beaten this horse to death, I would also add that when my husband and I travel, we especially appreciate hotels that have the mounted magnified/lighted mirrors in the bathroom so he can shave and I can ā€œpaint the barnā€. We both wear glasses so the magnification is important. Not all are lighted, but as long as the light is good above the mirror, then that is sufficient.

As a traveler I also appreciate the big dressing mirrors.

There are some full length mirrors which are more flattering than others. I think some add some chubbiness! I hate those haha.

Place it in the guest room! I stayed in one fancy airbnb, they have lighted mirrors (of course it is not just for makeup, some men prefer great mirrors too. women can also use for looking up themselves like their outfits and skin care routines) It’s just more than a ā€œmakeupā€ or ā€œvanity mirrorā€. Or u can check the brand, ā€œGrand Mirrorsā€
they sell great products and that’s also the lighted mirror I used during my vacation in states. I also think they ship worldwide.

I’m a woman - whenever I get ready in the morning or if I’m about to leave the house I always need to look at myself in a mirror (even if I don’t have any make-up on). I think your female guests will really appreciate having a makeup mirror in either the bathroom or guest-room. I don’t think it really matters where you put it as long as you have one that is easily accessible. As you mentioned your bathroom is kinda small, so don’t cramp it in there and just hang it in the guest-room. I provide one in my house and it’s never broke!

And me with the other extreme…
I was at a hotel recently and they had a makeup mirror taking up space on the 6 inches of counter space. I promptly put it under the sink for my 4 day stay.

If an airbnb host wants to be really fancy they could install one on the wall. Now that I think of it…
