Does AirBnB calculate service fees on VAT and other taxes?

AirBnB is now offering me to add VAT and Occupancy taxes to my rates.

This makes it possible to split the rates.
The question is if AirBnB calculates service fees on taxes. I cannot find anything on this on the AirBnB help site.

The only information they provide is that they will list it separately in the payout report, which will make it a bit easier for us in the monthly bookkeeping.

If they do not calculate the fees on the taxes, it will give us the possibility to slightly lower out rates, and be more competitive.

Has anyone got experience with this.

I remember reading a few months ago that they do not add their service fee onto the taxes they collect for hosts to remit. It was not on the airbnb website, though.
