Do people swap your stuff

I’m savoring a drinkypoo from a double-walled plastic tumbler left by a guest. But a SS double wall tumbler sounds great! Not for the STR, but personal use!

A pair are on their way! Mahalo.

I use glassware and plain white dishes from IKEA. The GODIS glasses are eternally replaceable, and about $1 each. Although I will say that guests break far fewer glasses than my own family, so we switched to Duralex for our own use. So far, so good.

Y’all make me feel cheap. Well actually I am.

I purchased new double walled plastic drink ware for my home. My perfectly usable used double walled plastic drink ware went to the rental (plastic only by pool)

My original wine glasses were from NC & SC wineries, left over from tastings so most were logo-ed. The logo-ed ones disappeared. I had several unmatched wine glasses at home. (Breakage). Purchased new for me, & toted my eclectic mix to the rental.

I purchased snazzy over priced yeti coffee cups for home. I took my used two of these to the rental. They disappeared.

Moral of story, don’t put anything in rental you are afraid to lose

Kleptomania or kleptolagnia (aka kleptophilia) could explain it, and I wouldn’t put toastokleptolagnia past society’s degenerates.

We found melamine dinnerware is not recommended for microwaving. Now we search for plastic ware that is microwave safe.

As for our rentals, the one with the pool has some plastic dishes and glasses, the other does not.
