I love used furniture but not a used mattress from a stranger. The used one I have came from a friend that I know had it in a waterproof encasement.
Maybe it’s just a mattress maker scam but they say you should get a new mattress periodically.
I have only bought a new mattress once (for me). We are due to upgrade to a king, I just can’t fathom what those cost new<><> The one I put inside Gypsy was new, the CL seller ended up with 2 and she only needed one, took more hassle to box and return, good deal for me.

Given the importance of sleep for our health and that most humans probably spend more time on their bed than any other single thing in their home, investment in a good bed makes sense.
Teacher humor? Wouldn’t have been able to enjoy 20 years of High School without it!
