Cancellation from host side: relief fund still eligible?

I received relief fund (25%) from Airbnb for a RSV in April.

I have one last RSV which is in June. Both guest and I want to cancel.

Guests asked me to cancel because she is unsure whether she will get full refund.

Would I still be eligible for the relief fund if I as a host cancel?

I don’t believe so, direct her to the link showing how she can cancel penalty free as a guest and talk her through the process. This is what I did with a guest who had a June booking.

Other hosts have said that they did not receive refunds for host cancellations. Nor should they, because they would not have expected any payout via their cancellation policy in that case.
