Anyone have the Nest Protect in there airbnb?

Is the nest protect a worthwhile investment for airbnb hosts?

What are the advantages/benefits?

Can it detect cigarettes / cannabis smoke?

I want a smart item that would alert me/ give me proof if a guest smoked within the property. Could this do the trick?

It seems like such a device would help with an early alert so that you could tell guests to stop smoking (and face the inevitable fallout that comes with calling out guests for bad behavior). However, what would be more useful is if Airbnb would accept it as proof that would allow you to either evict the guest without penalty or make a claim from the pseudo security deposit.
