I’ve been joining various Facebook and Linkedin groups. Are there any sites I’m unaware of for Airbnb hosts aside from airhostsforum?
Good to see you joined the host group in Chicago. On that note, come to the Airbnb Host Meet & Greet next Thurs. at 6:30pm at Lone Wolf on 806 W Randolph St., Chicago, Illinois 60607. Share with friends.
For those in the Toronto area there is: http://www.meetup.com/Toronto-Vacation-Rental-Properties-Meetup/
I’ve checked out Fairbnb.com…its more of content and articles but still a good resource for hosts. I think the Airbnb Groups are going to be your best bet for a community feel for hosts.

interested in forums & meetups or services for hosts? for the former, there are a lot of facebook groups depending on where you’re located. just type in “airbnb” in the group search and you’ll see the plethora of options. for the latter, check out guesty.com
There’s a New Hosts group on Airbnb itself. I just joined. It was amazingly hard to find it!
Here is the link for the Airbnb New Host Forum Group - they have strict rules to join. Here is the link to their requirements:

Good forum for vacation property owners:
Hi
We have started a free site where Hosts can share their favourite places around their apartment and hopefully inspire them to visit you. Our own apartment is https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/5579097
The website where you can write is here http://slocali.com and we have a Facebook page to follow as well.
Everyone is welcome to contribute and link back to their listing. They simply fill in the form to share available in the menu asking you some questions on what is special around your place. Hopefully if we can all contribute together we can help each other drive more traffic to our listings.
And I forgot to promote myself. I don’t have a forum but I do monthly webinars and write blog posts. Hosts receive a lot of value, Chip Conley’s webinar was great. He is Airbnb’s Head of Hospitality after all. You could view my site here:
Nice site Evelyn. I really like the simplicity and the clean layout.
Thank you for your kind words
HomeEscape is like Airbnb, VRBO, HomeAway & Flipkey but free. No fees on listings or bookings.
DC Host - does the “DC” mean Washington DC? I’d love to connect with other hosts in the area - I’m near College Park. I joined the DC group through air but never hear a word, and all the posts were very old.
For those hosting in Melbourne Australia, this site is all about making hosting easier by providing welcome packs for your guests. Check it out! www.cityoflaneways.com
For Vancouver Hosts there is a very active facebook group which has more or less replaced the official Airbnb forum for local users
Check out hostkeeping.com for Chicago hosts! Hostkeeping provides key exchanges, cleaning services, luggage storage, and complete Airbnb management.
I’m always conscious not to spam forums with promotional content.

There is a Airbnb Subreddit, but based on a brief experience with it, I wouldn’t recommend it. But, different strokes…
Note also that it is not only for hosts, it is for both hosts and guests.
