Yes, it appears my timing really sucks… My trial has run out, but I signed up to give them some time to work out the kinks. Like you, my main interest is the market report, so we’ll see how that pans out.
Me, too. We were showing as #1 and #2 or all combinations of stays. Such a disappointment the market report is now unreliable as this was the main feature for me.
I’m assuming they are hard at work on fixing it. Meanwhile I’m still getting views and bookings at about the same rate as before the 22nd so I’m not going to worry for the time being. For someone like youself whose business is off it’s more troubling.
Until I saw your post I thought the report was accurate because, wouldn’t you know, we got a last minute booking the day of that report.
Market reports seem to be accurate now. I’m definitely not #1 all month any longer. They will no longer be sent automatically, you have to go to the site and request them. I’m still assessing if that’s a deal breaker for me. Maybe I just need to start using their other services to get my money’s worth.
I have generated two Market Reports, and they have both been inaccurate. I am rather sad.
Still not happy with the new smartbnb market reports. First, because we have to run them manually. Also, they used to show the next 28 combinations of stays and now only show the next 12 combinations. But most importantly, they seem to still be inaccurate. Report after report is showing the dreaded red Xs. However, I’ve searched our market using the same criteria, using multiple devices in incognito mode and our listing shows up in results.
I barely use the messaging feature so, without the reports, I question whether the service is worth it. $18/month is not cheap compared to what other services charge for, say, dynamic pricing.
I’m sorry to say that I feel the same. Mine just renewed a couple of days ago and there are no refunds, it just runs until your next payment date.
Something must be going on. Has he explained why? You can’t charge a premium price for an inaccurate service.
