I had learned in this forum that the subject was untrue but just ran across my newest neighbor who hasn’t been able to sell her little horse farm that posted it in Airbnb for a bad review about bedbugs. She did not leave a review but was able to respond. (And stupidly invited future guests to exert her by saying she gave a full refund even though she had been given a full clear inspection try e next day…
I’ve never found the need to respond to a guest review, but good to know if I ever have to (altho I review all my guests anyway). Sorry for your poor neighbor, and too bad she didn’t run that extortion-inviting response by you before she submitted it.
I never respond to reviews – a past guest is ancient history and I focus on the present and future.
