You best blanket for covid 19

Hello Friends,

Colorado has many restrictions on our rentals. One, we can’t have any down or down alternative comforters. Can you recommend a good blanket that can be washed over and over and hold it’s own.

Linda

That’s ridiculous. Down comforters can be thrown in the wash just like a blanket can. And don’t they realize that hosts put removeable, washable covers on comforters? What misguided person comes up with nonsense like this? What’s next, we have to discard all the bedding after each guest?

Go on, take the plunge. Get duvets.

Microfiber drys fast, but does not hold up as long. I have 100% cotton blankets and plenty of spares, some are white and some off white, I bleach them all every time. I want them to smell bleached. They will wear out faster most likely but are holding up well so far. I rarely use the dryer, I hang it out to dry.

Oh I Know. I’m not making the decisions. So nuts!!! And expensive for me. I’m super picky so I like luxuries like a nice down comforter, etc.

How about quilts? I use 100% cotton quilts that wash well. When they start looking a little worn from frequent washing, I donate them to the animal shelter and buy more. I usually buy them on Amazon and use my points so it saves a little money.

Any chance you can share the link to the Colorado rules you mentioned?
