But I’m curious. You charge a cleaning fee. As a guest, I might assume that that includes doing some dishes after I leave. Depending, of course, on how many dishes. For example, we were on a recent three-day trip and had maybe one meal of dishes that we didn’t take care of (plates, glasses, silverware.) We needed to catch an early flight so we didn’t do them. We let the host know and sort of made our apologies. But I feel like this is something that should be considered included in the cleaning fee, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Then again, I know hosts/guests have widely varying expectations.
