When you get a glowing review

… how many times do you read and re-read it? Or is it just me?

I want to frame mine!

Perhaps we should think of these as the rule - not the exception? :grinning:

Must be me but never! Great review, guest gone, on to the next one!

You mean getting glowing reviews as the rule?

Yes! Creative visualization…

Interesting. But I fear, that’s setting the bar too high, too easy to be disappointed after. And I meant ‘glowing’ review, not just a good or even 5-star one.

Same. I guess if I’d only had one or two though…

Re-read? Why? It won’t make the next one better…or worse.

At least twice and maybe a half-dozen times. Depends on how much I need a pick-me-up.
They do make me feel like Sally Fields accepting the Best Actress Academy Award in 1984: “You like me - you REALLY like me!”. (OK, that’s not exactly what she said, but it’s close enough)

I read them aloud to my husband and, if possible, my BFF.

I have a small guest book in the room. Only a fraction of my guests sign it but when they do, it is usually glowing. I’ve had a couple that signed my book and didn’t leave an air review. Sometimes it includes a sketch, emails, cell numbers, poems and a Cherokee blessing. Sometimes they will write much more extensively there than on the air platform. I think if you enjoy re-reading reviews you should add a guest book to your rental if you haven’t already.
