We don’t appreciate “geek speak” for the sake of it… plain English is always best in an international forum.
Why is it “geek speak”? I simply did copy/past to the name of it and under the section I saw it. My intention is to understand what it is, simply that.

Mind reading is not one of my skills. No where in the OP did you say you are referring to the forum.
Honestly, I don’t know what it is and I’ve never seen it. I’m going to guess that a link to it is easy to find when one first becomes a member of the forum.
What else could I refer to? I mentioned the badges section.

Most people when posting questions here are referring to Airbnb which also has a badge, the Superhost badge.

I think it’s just a free feature of the forum software. The mods and probably forum owner aren’t even aware of it. That’s how insignificant it is.
