The site has been down for about 36 hours. We moderators have no powers to work on it. All we can do is message the forum owner and wait. Thanks to those of you who contacted me about it.

Quite odd to be cut off from folk so suddenly. It felt quite harsh to have no other way of contacting people that you care about.

Every time this happens we say we are going to come up with a back up plan and never do. Maybe this time will be different.

I see they’ve made site changes. The heart and editing symbols moved the right now. I can never understand why programmers do these sorts of things. Why move it? It seems pointless.

I suspect the site was doen necause they were mucking about with it.

I knew I could find @gypsy, because I knew the name of her Airbnb property. So I looked her up and found her email. I know she’s not a moderator, but she could confirm that she was having the same trouble I was.

No, I’m using my phone, but not the app version. I sign in through Chrome browser, just like I would on my laptop.

I’ll see how it appears when I’m on my laptop later.

So weird. Has always been on the left for me, whether using phone or laptop. How can that be?

Hi guys, Tom (server admin) here - we ran out of disk space yesterday and I apologize for the downtime.

I have put more monitor in place to make sure this doesn’t happen again!

We upgraded the forum software as part of the reboot, so that’s why things might have changed a bit!
