Well this is new - left a last minute never darken my door review and got an R U OK email from Airbnb

My review left at 4.38pm with 60 seconds to spare
** ##### and her group are the worst guests I have ever hosted.**

They had no respect for the hosts time. They said they would be arriving at about 3pm, they did not contact me to advise they were running late until I followed up at 5pm, they stated they had decided to stop along the way. Their eventual arrival was aftert 7.30 pm and I had to leave my wedding Anniversary restaurant meal to be there to meet and greet.

They had no respect for the heritage home or the antique furniture they rented. They ripped from the wall the internet port leaving wires hanging out, dismantled the internet equipment and denied doing it and then complained about the lack of internet.

I had to spend Sunday afternoon trying to arrange an internet technician to reinstall / repair / replace the damaged equipment. They offered to pay for the damage and when informed of the cost there has been no response or payment.

I would never, ever host this group again and strongly recommend that no other host welcomes them!

Something in your review on 2020-10-25 suggested that there may have been a problem with your reservation with Li.

The Resolution Centre lets you request money for any damages. It’s your first stop for addressing these kinds of problems during a reservation.

If there wasn’t a problem during your reservation, you can ignore this email.

Maybe they’re checking host reviews rating guests as “1”?

REMOVE THE ANTIQUES. NO rental should contain any furniture that has any antique value. AirBnB will NOT compensate for its higher value. At the most, you will get replacement value for cheap modern furniture.

Full Victorian catastrophe. Highest heritage value in the area. These guests were from a culture that comes to floral festivals…

I guess I don’t know what a floral festival is or why it would be a bad thing to attend one. No idea what kind of “culture” you mean. Knowing as little as I do, I hate to say that your comment sounds demeaning, but it does.

I welcome everyone, I just find that some cultures have completely different expectations of what a self catering house is and what my role is
I have been asked for daily service.
Come and cook our breakfast.
Absolutely no regard for the house rules.
Call us a taxi.
Come and get us from the train station/ airport.
Bringing extra guests without consultation.
Assuming young children are welcome as well as free when they aren’t.
Tour guide.
These are the guests I get at this time of year…

I’m glad they have at least something to check in on reviews, but it does feel weird that they are “listening” on a review.
