Hi, I’ve noticed that multiple hosts in my market are able to accept same-day bookings, but this does not seem possible on my listings. Does anyone understand this / am I missing something? Thanks.

It’s called Advance notice on Airbnb, not sure if it’s called the same on VRBO.
But unless you live somewhere that same day bookings are likely to happen a lot, like close to an airport where guests might need to book last minute because of unexpected flight delays or cancellations, you might want to reconsider taking same day bookings- there are several reasons why they tend to be risky.
I see “Booking Window” with a minimum 1 Day.
Yes they are risky; about 30% of my Airbnb bookings are same-day, in low-availability situations.
