Hey all-
I think I saw mention somewhere of an app that time stamps your video? I’d like to start incorporating walk through documentation (either myself or our trusted cleaner depending on timing) before check-ins. Any personal recommendations, please pass along. Many thanks!
What are you shooting with? Read the manual or online documention. AFAIK video files should have date/time signature embedded in every frame, but my info might only apply to SONY’s digicams.
The time date stamp video app that I use is called Time Stamp Camera. It’s free. I use an iPhone.
I found trying to figure out software to store a lower resolution image not as user friendly so I ended up creating a separate Facebook account for my airbnb videos. I did not make it private but have not invited anyone to join. It’s super easy to shoot the video, then upload to the special Facebook account I have, then delete from the phone.
When you load a video from your phone directly to Facebook it reduces the file size but it’s very clear to view. I upload with the date of the upload. Once uploaded to my Facebook account that I only use for airbnb videos, I delete from phone.
My thoughts are that if it’s every a question, I can ask CS to joint this FB account to view and if they won’t do that, I’ll shoot the video from it playing on my desktop monitor.
Attached is a static photo of the video playing on my Facebook page.
FYI - I lift up the sheets and show the bed bug encasement wrap and also the very clean (no bed bug poop found on the mattress creases.)
Thanks so much! Just used the app before guests arriving today, easy and free
