Question is basically same as topic. What kinds of insurance do you have to rent out your boat (for staying and sleeping, not for sailing or boating.) My concerns are damage to the boat or to other’s boats by the guests, or injury or accidents to the guests, etc. Are there insurance companies that specialize in this type of thing? Do you have any suggestions for companies? I am a new host, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you are at a marina rather than tied up at your private dock, you’re going to have to find out if the marina allows Airbnb rentals (mine does, not all do or even care) and what insurance they require. You’re going to have to have the marine equivalent of homeowners insurance which covers those things. Talk to your current marine insurance agent.
