This little $15 gadget really helps me!

I bought a driveway motion sensor that"chimes" when the guest drives by. I cant see their car in the driveway from my house. This alerts me when they are leaving on checkout day and also when they have arrived. I only put the sensor out there when I meet them for the first time and when I expect them to leave on checkout date…put in a drive spot. You can buy these on amazon or Harbor Freight Tools(I love that store).

dry spot, not drive spot!

Does it also flag passing cars that aren’t your guests?

it would, but not on my property since my long driveway is gated and on 2 acres, noone drives by me except the guest. I think the company’s name is Jobar. the one from Harbor freight tools is great.hint;dont get it damp or batteries will rust;i keep on covered porch. Sometimes the neighbors cats set it off though and give a false alarm.

Sound great for people who live on the premises! Thank for taking the time to suggest it.

I use something similar. Blink is a wireless/battery operated security camera. Anytime someone passes it, it send some a motion clip to the app on my cellphone. It’s more than $15 but allows me to see my guests when they come and go.

wow Im going to ask Santa to get me a Blink, one for outside to see the guest and one for inside to watch the dogs when Im gone.

I use this one. Costs a bit more but works really well. It’s waterproof and has good range, We have two of them. One is situated about 2000 feet over a hill from the receiver and still gets the signal. Use lithium ion batteries of you’re going to use in a cold climate:
