I accept bookings that immediate family members make for their spouses, parents, if they are upfront about it. I do politely suggest that if their guest plans to use airbnb again, that they get their own account in keeping with airbnb policy. So far this is mainly adult children booking for parents who are not computer savvy. I make it gently clear that they are responsible for the guest during their stay. I do not accept ones for friends, distance relatives, etc. People are foolish who make reservations in their name for relatives whom they know may be poorly reviewed guests.
