Hello, we are students from the University of San Francisco working on a consulting project for Airbnb in an entrepreneurship course.

We are collecting primary data for both hosts and guests in order to develop a marketing and sales strategy for our next class presentation.

A consulting project for Airbnb? Airbnb doesn’t need consultants to develop marketing and sales strategies, they need to listen to their hosts about all the things that are horribly wrong with their platform, and their abysmal customer disservice.

The one lesson you should learn from this experience:

NEVER WORK FOR FREE.

The first thing you are going to learn is that it is very difficult to get people to waste their time to complete surveys. And if you do not make it easy and the form opens immediately you click on the link then the few who are prepared to do the survey will quickly give up. You appear to be wasting your time at this course.
