Well you have great taste. And I think it is very smart to use a light motif for the walls in a small space, that still have enough inherent “drama” and a bold contrast with the floor.

Lots of hooks everywhere is an excellent idea. I use a special glue to hold the hooks on wall tiles. So there are no drilling, no nails nor screws needed. But I use strong scotch to keep the hooks in place for 24 hours while waiting for the glue to dry.

So many great ideas for what is already a lovely space! I have just one thing to add…maybe no need for a medicine cabinet? They aren’t moving in. Right? Go to some antique or consignment stores and get yourself a nice/interesting mirror that fits the space.

This is a great suggestion, though without a sink-vanity I am not sure where to store all of the miscellaneous toiletries (travel-sized soaps, extra toothbrush, shower cap, Tylenol etc.). I like to keep them out of sight. Other BnBs I’ve stayed in have the miscellaneous toiletries in plain sight, and I find it looks a bit cluttery.

Here is a crappy phone photo of the work-in-progress. I’ll snap another of the shower niche when it is done. I’m thinking of getting a round-mirror medicine cabinet.
