Just to cheer you up, guys.
Just as a background, I’ve lived in the States for half my life, but, I guess, my accent will die with me:)
So I’ve had this conversation with my guest today:

  • Hello, is this Jack?
    — Erm, yes, it’s Jack
    — Hiiii, Jack, I am your host Lucy
    — You are my WHAT?
    — I am your Airbnb hoST Lucy. Sorry, it’s my accent.
    And here he starts cracking up laughing and I’m with him😀
