Nollaig sona duit o Bhaile Atha Cliath or in english Happy Christmas to you from Dublin.
We get long breaks in Ireland, children are off school until the 8th of January 2018
I hope whatever you were doing that you had a nice day. I live in an old area, there are a few old age pensioners and I did too much baking yesterday. The mince pies and almond cookies were too nice, will need to run a marathon to shift those few x pounds
PS mince pies are made from sweet pastry and the mincemeat is raisins, apples, sultana,s lemon/orange juice and rind, sugar, brandy, rum, sherry . I have no idea why its called mincemeat
Six inches of fresh snow this morning, but guests were able to slowly make their way to our house. Guests as in family, not the other kind.
For your viewing pleasure, the One-A-Year Cinnamon Buns for Christmas breakfast.
[and if you mention the platter-splatter, I will never make them for you.]
Ohh, y-um! Even though I’m not one of your FF (forum favorites) I’ll keep my nose pressed against the window looking in and hope you’ll let me lick some of the splatter…since it’s a special day and all…
Snow pics please! ️:snowflake:️:snowflake:️:snowflake:️
Merry Christmas todo el mundo! Ex post facto!!
Happy holidays and a prosperous New year to everyone!
My Charlie Brown tree at the flat (don’t have much room to put up a “real” tree, so this had to do).
Oh you lucky multi-lingual speakers…(sigh).
If that isn’t the cuu-test widdle twee ever…‘n’ those lights are weighing it down too. (awww!)
Here ya’ go. This is out of my office window, 40 minutes into a 24 hour [expected] storm.
Winds are now picking up and the rate of snow falling from the sky is increasing.
I heard about your coming storm and it sounds scary! Stay safe everyone in the East!
Post some pics of snow in the city, to me that sounds like a blast!
No pun intended… now that I see your video!
Sounds lovely. Where are you in Dublin?
My family are from Clontarf and Monkstown.
