But why did you cancel? The reason you gave us is vague. If it’s because of a double book or a calendar issue you are out of luck. Sorry. Like I say just answer the review with an apology, plead ignorance. Don’t get mad at us.

Yeah, I think this is an easy fix and won’t wreck you too badly. Just do a mea culpa and you should be fine for future guests.

Wow @renter101 I can’t believe you have been so rude to a fellow host who was trying to help you.

Others on this forum will be now be rather reluctant to help you for fear you will jump down their throat.

@anon67190644 was making a very valid point to help you understand why this had happened.

I don’t know what other hosts have experienced with this, but personally I would not assume it is so simple. If Airbnb does not honor this, you have no recourse. I recommend caution.
