Refund for guest who broke listing rules on kitchen

A guest was intruding into the host’s kitchen outside of agreed times (written in the listing and rules) and persisted despite several warnings. The guest decided to leave and even kept the host’s keys after departure to try to leverage for more kitchen time and more use of the washing machine in addition to the once a week in the listing! Despite this Air recommended a refund for this guest for unspent days on the grounds of personality conflict. Surely this is wrong?

Yes it is, they often do this, just say no. I would also claim to replace the locks as she has kept your keys.

Just make sure you confirm to Airbnb that you are not choosing to voluntarily refund the guest more than they are entitled to.
