Is it ok to make a referral on airbnb for a new guest that will book my place on airbnb?

If I’m understanding the question properly, the answer is no. This is from Airbnb:
The Airbnb User may not be the host on the Qualifying Reservation booked by the referred friend.
So I guess this means that the referred guest can book with the referring host at some time in the future but the referral fee only applies for the referred person’s first booking. Which cannot be the host they book with.
