We have put away the custom bed coverlet and 2 decorative bed pillows, I always asked the guests to put them in the nearby cabinet which 99% of them did.
I sew the duvet covers from 2 flat sheets and use 2 22" zippers at the foot, and have also made 4 case sets of pillow cases from king flat sheets. We have down duvets which are much easier to put inside the duvet covers and take out than down alternatives. We use only Wamsutta, Ralph Lauren, Pima, 525 thread count 100% cotton sheets or higher. They have only gotten more soft and luxurious feeling with age. We air dry.
