@Debthecat is right. You won’t always get unconditional support here. And some people can be very blunt with their disagreements. Put on your grown-up pants and don’t take criticisms personally and you’ll get some good advice from this forum. I know I have.

I’m not exactly sure what you meant by that. I meant my post as a heads’ up - that you’ll get good help from this forum but you might need to guard your feelings and look past the blunt language.

Not sure what you mean by how to post, as you just did.
If you’re referring to starting a new thread, you can’t do that here when you first join. You have to comment on other threads for a bit before you can do that. I don’t know for how long, or how many times, though.
That is designed to thwart spammers who come to the forum for the first time pretending to be hosts, when they are just trying to sell hosts some brilliant new app or product they created that they are sure hosts need. (Even though it’s obvious that they haven’t done any research, as there are usually already tools like that out there that hosts use. 
)
