New simplified channel manager for review

Hello everyone. I manage over 50 listings on Airbnb and recently also on Booking. I’m about to launch a new service that will allow Airbnb host to instantly and easily duplicate their listing to booking.com.
Here is our Genie explaining about the service:

Would love to get your feedback about this new venture!

I’m happy to attend a focus group and get paid for my feedback and input. Other businesses do this and usually pay $80 - $150 for 1.5 hours and provide snacks. I’ll send you my PayPal account details for payment.

I’m personally getting pretty sick of businesses coming on here and seeking all our advice, input, marketing and business ‘feedback’ for free.

@Emily is correct if you are looking for people to take part in focus groups or people to help with Beta testing of your products either in person, phone or online, it’s customary to reward their expert input either financially/through vouchers etc.

I think it’s particularly galling, when people who say they manage over 50 listings and have been a member since last year, don’t contribute to the life on the forum and then want to post here and receive valuable input for free.

If you want meaningful feedback, then structure market research questions around your product and pay for people’s input.

@Emily @Helsi I’m sorry if I did something which is against the terms of this forum. I was trying to look for the most off-topic discussion group and I thought that the Tools is the one. I wonder why not open a specific thread for small businesses like me and to let the viewers decide if they want to participate or not. For example, I really like to explore new tools and features.

I would really love to contribute back to this community although I don’t want to pay for participant directly because I believe I’ll get participants answering questions just to get the reward.

If you can think about a way I can contribute to the forums in general, like content, donation or anything else I’d be glad to do it.

It’s common practice in ethic approved clinical studies for participants to be paid honorariums. I’m not providing free market research for retailers who want my phone number, post code or to fill out online surveys. I recently was a part of a focus group for a medical study, my answers are the same no matter how much or little I’m paid, your imputation of false answers for money is insulting.

I have been a participant in 27 medical studies, primarily funded by the NIH, and have never been paid a cent.

Hello @janalopa

When I talked about contributing, I didn’t mean financially.

I meant contributing advice on these forums - you’ve been a member for ten months, say you manage 50 listings but haven’t contributed any advice to other hosts- so why not offer your expertise and knowledge.

Your fellow hosts would be much more likely to feedback on your products if you’re an active member.

Personally I don’t find you terribly credible because in your first post you say Airbnb was closing down your listing because a friend of yours was accused of sexually assaulting a guest they hooked up with and now you are back saying you manage 50 listing.

Anyway my point about market research still stands if you want to carry out proper market research, you can rely on, then you should offer something in return for people’s time and formulate a properly constructed questionnaire/testing pathway.

Ah come to the UK - medical trials pay well. However for NHS research they normally just pay expenses.

My nephew, who had leukaemia as a child was given cash for his part in a study, at Sick Kids Hospital, he had an MRI done for the study.

There was a Carry On film with a flu camp plot, I think.
