Temporary visitors is not the issue. I’m referring to unregistered (non-paying) overnight guests who bring their own provisions.

My first experience with extra guests was also my first experience with an out of control party, right on my property, with me there. None of them listened to directions to keep it down. When I asked them to keep it down, they answered “we are only trying to have fun.” Then closed all the doors and windows and kept on partying. They went on to waste lots of water and then break furniture. I was appalled and felt outnumbered, and not in control of my own home, and quite terrified, as the extra guests were local.
I did tell,the guests they had to leave and they did but clearly they were planning to stay over.
If it had just been my guest and her companion it wouldn’t have happened. I am positive.
