My guests can't book in because it says there are no vacancies?

Hi everyone, I’m just writing in the hope that someone will be able to help me. I’ve found the air bnb support very lacking.

I’ve recently become a host for the first time. I’ve uploaded my listing and everything was going well. I have a large house so I have three bedrooms. Two with double beds and a trundle each, one with a single. This means I can accommodate up to 7 people at a time.

Once one person has booked in for a certain period of time, another person can’t book in for that same period of time even though i have heaps of space. I’ve adjusted my settings to include how many guests i can accommodate and how many beds I have and it still won’t work. Please help! My guests can’t pay me if the website says they can’t book.

This is my listing: https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/8178003

Hi Lizzie,

I believe that you need to list each of your bedrooms separately.

Yours,

Ellen

Yes, list each room separately. As far as the system is concerned, the property is booked and your calendar is blocked.

Good luck!

Yup… each one has to be separate. Just call them #1, #2 and #3

same as the above. I have a separate listing for one room and the whole apartment, Air lets you synch your calendars, too, so there is no clash.
