My cover photos of my 3 private rooms have been, for the last 11 years photographs of the bed. Suddenly I did check on my listing on airbnb.com and it is now showing a shared space in my house. And they all look the same. Any ideas how that happened, and any solutions?
Our listings are still the same. Hope it’s not a gradual roll-out or some split-testing. Contact CS and ask…

They just sent me screenshots of my listing with the proper cover photo happening! Strange that ‘locally’ it does not show that. Thanks so much for the (obvious to anyone but me lol) advice to call CS!
So the wrong photos are first when you go to “view” on your hosting pages? Which is supposed to show how your listing appears to guests?
So now we can’t trust how our listing appears unless we check incognito like a guest? That’s really screwed up.

I had the same surprise, but I was somehow asked to let them choose my “best” picture. I pressed yes, and their choice was really bad, so I had to modify again using Airbnb on a PC, where you can reorder the pictures and choose a cover photo.
There is no “them” unless you consider algorithms and AI and chatbots to have any pronoun descriptor other than “it”.
