I would also eat the special price.
It’s not the client fault that you had this price, they booked and it was confirmed.

In this case you can call Airbnb and ask them to cancel. Something similar happened to me one year over new year and my guest got an exceptionally cheap deal. I sucked it up, however I did get my normal rate so it wasn’t like I lost money.
I don’t see why you need to allow a guest to stay at 10$ per night. You’re being asked to swallow a significant loss for 6 nights for a mistake that any new host could easily make.
Call Airbnb and cancel it. I recommend you don’t sit on this.
If it’s for one day or for other period that you can handle the financial ramifications then host them and ask them to give you a 5 star review given that you didn’t cancel on them.
However, if you’re leaving too much cash on the table, then cancel, with the attendant ramifications on super host eligibility and reviews.
I personally avoid instant book. Too much drama, and us intended consequences for me!
You can of course try to get airbnb to cancel but I think the chance are low.
I had this, and I immidiately called AirBnB and got it canceled for free.
Fot this reason I now have my listings all limited to booking maximum 6 months ahead.
I am currently not thinking of easter prices for next year, but people are looking for cheap options already.
Just bite the bullet on this one, it was a mistake on your part and just try to get an excellent review , it has happened to my twice and it’s just a good lesson learned to make sure your prices are correct
in new york city when paying 3k to 3b
and even a room is
1 year contract 40 times of income proof credit check and credit check fee real estate fee
etc etc
and give a away room some do not answer your messages just for review
this is mean how airbnb taking advantage of their rating system just same like uber.
when first airbnb start to use this review that says overall 5* and consider 4* sucks and against host i couldn’t belive it and i was thinking airbnb will withdraw because it is will not work and now i saw how too many submassive comments are here or other forums that accepting almost everything this amount of comments that says hey just accept it make me understand how airbnb becoming pushy and more pushy to hosts.
i do have 2 houses 3b and 4b 3b is moved to long term and after summer will do same for second house.
Can you provide your listing details? Just so I can avoid whenever I visit NYC. I don’t want to stay with such an angry ranting host who takes everything personally, refuses to acknowledge their mistake and doesn’t know how to maintain their listings properly.
There. Now all your venom can be vented on me. (I aim to serve my fellow airhosts forum members)
(…renting long term sounds like the better decision.)
not angry actually the disappointment is how people says eat it look for next for best reviews
and airbnb pushing a lot hosts or review cancelation and instant booking
Sorry dear, but I find it hard to understand your comment. But the fact remains that you made an error, as the title of this topic shows.
Even though I find it hard to understand you, it seems that you might not be cut out to be an Airbnb host. Sorry.
for being a good host you meant english is a must and the rest of world must be cutted yeepp i hear you dear no worries.
i took down my list any way first.
now i do understand why airbnb is rude against host this much because obviously some like to be treat like that LOL.
for some says you are here ask questions and u dont like answers nope the eat it is not an answer and airbnb mostly in big cities we share our home (hope some understand this mean) with other people and price for nyc is little more than room renting.
and yes airbnb treat host very bed.
and finally i m not united airline miss type price ticket for $500 for $50 how you compare an airbnb host with united come one trolling or what ???
and again eat it go further answers all come from trolls for airbnb but unhappy host means no job in future for you guys to stop itt please i took down list and i hope some one from airbnb read here to and cancel that rule or make it softer for now all rules are again hosts and guest can easily manipulate and take advantage.
entire month guest was usuing restroom dirty and he said that he pay cleaning fee ??? ($9) should eat that to come on
