Message to emphasize guests to READ

You misread that. The host didn’t say they gave 4 stars, they said that the GUESTS who don’t read the instructions give 4 stars for check in.

Don’t you all use the step-by-step check-in guide with pictures? Setting this up and sending the link on check-in day has made check-in so much easier for guests who choose self check-in.

Our instructions are a bit complicated as our guests share our garage and have multiple keypads to get through. The best thing about the the guide is when they complete the check-in, Airbnb notifies you (most of the time) that they have checked in successfully.

I have that set up. I just need the guests to see/ read it. Hence this subject.

Gotcha. I always send them a link to it the day before they arrive. It has worked out well for us, but it certainly isn’t foolproof.

On-line maps/SatNavs have us in the wrong location. I send detailed directions but too often these are ignored in favour of a SatNav, so it’s hard enough just getting people here! I can’t imagine these guests managing to access your property without having a nervous breakdown.
