I am asking to find out what your thoughts are if I showcase picture of handcrafted products that I want to sell.
Do you think I can include pictures of my products that guests can purchase in the booklet of house rules / info?
I am thinking of including it in the binder - will this negatively impact guests’ experience?
(I don’t plan on verbally mention/sell the products during the entire guests’ stay)
Well, others may disagree but I don’t think it’s at all unprofessional. I make soaps and toiletries (we stock them in the apartments) and I have a page in the guest handbook about them. I don’t push them in any way but most guests buy something … in fact the problem is usually having enough stock to sell them! I also mention that they are welcome to visit the workshop if it’s a soapmaking day.
If you are proud of your products (and you wouldn’t be selling them if you weren’t!) then go ahead - people often enjoy buying souvenirs of their stay anyway, and it solves their take-home gift problem!

I don’t see a problem, we have leaflets about where to go, what to see and what to buy locally. I would think of it as enhancing the guest experience.
How do you guys go about in terms of presentation?
A double-sided summary page on property info + double sided page on products in a thin binder?
Our listings feature art by local artists all of which is for sale. We have a single page with pricing we put at the end of our information pack about the property. No one has ever complained. So I say go for it. It would not offend me personally.
We use these information folders, should be something similar available in most countries

Oooh, I see an Airbnb “experience” making soaps in your future.
