You must have linked it before because after seeing them here somewhere I bought them. No makeup stains here (yet) knock on wood. I do agree that seeing that makes a person think about why would the host put that there… Oh…

@RiverRock Yes by providing them we’ve eliminated any excuse. I’ve used them myself and I like them. I’ve had poly/cotton blends provided in hotels before and I do not like/will not use them, but these I like.
Thank you for the suggestion. I just ordered them and hopefully no more scrubbing for me.
I can’t guarantee NO scrubbing, LOL, but I’m pretty sure it will help!
I’m wondering if the people who leave makeup all over washcloths, towels and sheets have ones at home which are permanently stained?
Do they just live with the stains, or are they constantly replacing things?
Or is it that they forget all common sense when they travel?
A related question:
Why can’t white cotton towels be bleached? (According to the care instructions on mine.)
I think they must live with the stains. I think you can bleach white towels, I think the mfg just puts the same tag on them that they do on the colored towels?
Hasn’t done ours any harm, so far!

we use oxyclean when we wash our towels and it doesn’t do a perfect job but it cleans pretty well.
Nice! thank you for sharing
Hi, I was having the same problem. My niece stayed in the house for a week and told me that I should put in containers that hold black washcloths that have “makeup” embroidered in white on them. You can find them on Amazon and they’re inexpensive. That fixed everything! I put a basket of three black washcloths in each bathroom , along with makeup remover wipes. Problem solved!
Old post so I did not read it but dish soap (I use Kirkland brand or Dawn) gets mascara out w/ little effort.
Good to know for sheets/pillowcases, even if you have the wipes and black rags (I have both and still need that dish soap occasionally).
