Looking for Beta Testers / Hosts

I’m launching a new web service designed to help hosts replenish their home inventory in a fraction of the time.

No more emails with supply lists. No more “can you grab these items?” text messages to cleaners or assistants.

Whether you manage one property or multiple STRs, you’ll be able to restock everything your property needs in just a few clicks.

I’m currently looking for a small group of beta testers to try the platform (secured), give feedback, and help shape the final product. It is 100% FREE - to support our community.

If saving dreadful time doesn’t sound like a bad idea,
send me a message and join the service.

Ever heard of “Amazon”?

“Dreadful time” seems a bit dramatic.

Rings a bell… The current testers probably haven’t

Joke aside, I appreciate your curiosity.

It’s integrated with Amazon (API), so it is significantly shortening the process. The average order time without is 8:30mins - with it, it’s less than a minute and better accuracy.

Would it be horrible to give it a shot?

That’s how it feels to me… managing 12 listings makes it so. Would you be OK with me asking, how did you make this task such that you enjoy it?

I have one listing- a homeshare in my house. I don’t employ anyone- I do the cleaning and everything else myself. Anything I need for the rental just goes on my regular shopping list. (And I don’t support Amazon, both because I won’t put a penny in Bezo’s pocket, and because I prefer supporting local businesses if possible.)

And I wouldn’t consider not dreading something to mean one enjoys it. I don’t particularly enjoy cooking, but I cook because I need to eat and don’t “dread” it.
Many chores people have to do, whether personally or for their business, are neither dreaded nor enjoyed- it’s just part of what needs to be done.

Can you create an app that pulls hair covered in soap scum out of the shower drain? I’d definitely be interested in that.

Lol, I tried working on that app many times… so far it seems as I am not the one with the solution :man_facepalming:

Anyone is not against learning more…?

I would assume no one who has read this post feels the need for an app designed to help replenish their inventory in a fraction of the time.

Your app might indeed be interesting to other hosts who manage a dozen properties, but the majority of hosts on this forum don’t seem to fall into that category.

That makes sense now. Thank you for the clear explanation

My property is in a country where it’s far too expensive to order from Amazon, so all the re-stocking is either done by my housekeeper from local stores or I bring it with me when I go there. I’m retired and she doesn’t charge me for shopping trips - and isn’t tech-savvy - so using an app to save a few minutes is not valuable to either of us.

Makes sense. The beauty of it is, it knows when a listing is about to run out of an item based on guests amount, stays days, and a few other variables.

How would it know whether a guest went through 1 roll of toilet paper for a week-long stay, or 5 rolls?

I have guests who go through 3 litres of drinking water a day, and some who only use 1 litre. Guests who only use one bath towel, out of the 2 bath towels, hand towel and washcloth I leave, during a week-long stay, and some who use them all and request more.

A non-host with an uninformed concept for an unnecessary process.

It analyzes averages. After a few months it learns. A guest that goes through 3 liters a day is “edge case” but even if not, it learns. So far we’ve reached 97% accuracy.

All 40+ testers seem to be using this daily thus far with much success.

This comment is helpful though.

One of the things they like the most is that the percentage of items that were forgotten to be ordered went down to almost 0.
