I was wondering if any London AirBnb hosts could give me the benefit of their experience a bit. I am aware it’s tricky in London, with the 90 day rule meaning for a whole flat / house you are forced to either rent medium-term outside of the peak season, or apply for planning permission.
For those that have tried / are currently London AirBnB hosts - was it worth the extra effort for you? Was the profit worth it? And on a slightly different note - has anyone managed to get planning permission approved to offer short-term lets 365 days a year?
I appreciate there are a myriad of factors that will create the success or failure of a short-term let, but just looking for scope out how people have done it, and how it’s going!
