Letting your House out when your away

My brother use’s Air Bnb and has a key lock. He gives the AirBNB guest the code so they can access the key whilst he is on holiday. I believe some insurance company’s are ok with this.

If I get one i’ll get a police approved one does anyone else here do this?

It might be better to invest in an electronic lock instead of buying a box for the key. That way you can change the code between guests and now have to worry about a guest taking the key to be copied while they’re vising.
