Is anyone aware of the legalities of short-term / vacation rentals in Belgium and particularly Wallonia?
airbnb’s Terms refer to a ‘License to Stay’ but I wonder if this has any legal standing in Belgium.
A local lawyer I asked did not recognize the term…hence my concern…though it could have been lost in translation…
I want to be sure that we are able to get rid of overstayers and are not walking blindly into a relationship with a Guest that we can’t get out of, particularly as the law in BE usually favors the tenant!
